01Delete it in the app
This is the quickest way, and it works the same for guest accounts and accounts with an email, Apple or Google.
- Open OpenManga and tap the menu button at the top left.
- Tap your account at the top of the menu to open Settings.
- Tap Delete account, then confirm.
It happens at once, and it can’t be undone.
02If you have a subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: the store keeps charging you until you cancel it there. Cancel it first, then delete the account.
- Google Play: open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- App Store: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
03What is deleted
- Your account and how you sign in (email and a scrambled password, or your Apple or Google ID).
- Every page you added, its translation, and the text we found on it, including the files in our storage.
- Your credits, your credit history and your subscription status with us.
- If you signed in with Apple, our access to your Apple ID is revoked.
04What may be kept for a while
- Some billing and security records, for a limited time, where we need them for accounting, fraud prevention or legal reasons.
- Backups and logs, which keep copies for a short while before they are overwritten.
- Purchase records that Google Play, the App Store and our subscription provider keep under their own policies. We can’t delete those.

05If you can’t open the app
Email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may need to check that it’s really you. Once we have, we delete the account within 30 days and tell you when it’s done.
Guest accounts have no email address, so we can only find them from the phone they were made on. If that phone is gone, tell us what you can (roughly when you used the app, and on what phone) and we’ll do what we can.
